Car manufacturers Skoda have proved extremely popular with Skoda car insurance customers after finishing first in two categories as part of Auto Express’ Driver Power Survey.
Not only was Skoda voted Best Manufacturer, but it also received a gong for Best Family Car, achieved with its Octavia model. Skoda has come a long way in the last two decades, reviving its reputation with sleeker, contemporary designs that have proved a hit with couples and families alike.
It is the second year running that Skoda claimed the Best Manufacturer prize, having knocked Lexus off pole position back in 2009. Skoda car insurance customers have praised the company for its consistency, reliability and value for money time and again with its new and existing portfolio of models.
Robert Hazelwood, Skoda UK brand director, said: "Being awarded the Best Manufacturer in the Auto Express Driver Power Survey again is great news for Skoda. We are delighted, as it's good to hear that customers are telling us that they are pleased with the whole Skoda driving experience."
Formerly the ugly duckling of the European automobile industry, Skoda’s refreshing rebrand under the ownership of Volkswagen has brought the firm into the 21st Century with a significant bang.
