The advent of online-only car insurance policies continues as RSA introduces its very own online-only car insurance product, giving motorists the flexibility and control to customise a policy to suit their exact needs.
Customers have the ability to purchase add-ons to the basic level of cover by choosing a combination of up to ten additional options, including breakdown, in-car entertainment, emergency care and legal assistance cover.
Keith Maxwell, head of car insurance at RSA, said: "RSA echoice is all about empowering the customer to take complete control of their insurance. Our customers want to be able to pick and mix their covers, rather than buying an ‘off-the-shelf’ package as traditionally provided by insurers."
RSA echoice is a self-administered car insurance policy, much in the same way as ASDA e-car insurance; so that customers don’t have to contact call centres in order to add cover options. They will have complete control and can log into their accounts remotely, 24-hours a day. As the policy is only available online, costs are reduced and therefore premiums can be kept as low as possible.
