Road Rage Is Worrying The Over 55s

Over 55s are more concerned about the traumatic effects of road rage and car jacking according to a recent research from the Independent financial research company Defaqto. After  surveying 5,000 consumers, they found that this was an important concern for Over 55s.

However, this is not covered by 90% of insurance policies available on the market.
91 % of comprehensive motor insurance policies don’t cover road rage and 92% of these policies do not cover car jacking.
Defaqto’s Insight Analyst Mike Powell has said that, it’s not only the financial impact of road rage and car jacking that is concerning over 55s, but the thought of injury and trauma.

Powell encouraged that concerned motorists to examine their policy details closely, with differing policies offering differing sorts of coverage (for example, some offer cover for trauma counselling).
